We were asked to rescue this 30’ circular wildlife pond in Hungerford, Berkshire. A little outside of our domestic trading area, our staff were happy to stay away and so the project was on.
Using an excavator and dumper, we grubbed out the original pond, revealing a lot of accumulated dirt over the years which, fortunately, was able to be tipped elsewhere on the clients’ hand, to drain and breakdown into future compost.
When the site was prepared, we lined the pond using PondGard EPDM liner which has a lifetime warranty. The clients’ plants were trimmed and returned as water was added, whilst imported topsoil and turf dressed the pond surrounds back into the landscape.
