Let us restore your pond to it’s former glory with our Restoration Service.

Restoring your pond to its former glory
We appreciate that sometimes your pond can become a burden to maintain and, over time, these can fall into disuse. Ponds of any size are highly important as biodiversity hotspots and critically important for invertebrates, amphibians, plant life and fish if you keep them.
We renovate, repair and restore ponds to their former glory, maintaining an ever-growing database of ponds that then also receive annual care from us. We are then on-hand year-round to provide remote support, call-out help or regular, planned maintenance for your pond as your personal needs dictate.

When we come to restore your pond, our process involved surveying the pond, it’s problems and your needs before agreeing a written, fixed-price quotation for your agreement, before any work is undertaken.
We have the equipment and manpower to save your existing water (vitally important for the continued health of your pond and wildlife), the muscle to clean years of debris and the expertise to put it all back again, looking just right.
Nature then takes its course and re-estabishes your beautiful pond for years to come – possibly with our ongoing range of maintenance to support you as you desire and need.
Our restoration services includes:
- Drain, clean and re-fill your existing pond – an essential first step in our future relationship with you & your pond, saving as much water, plant-life as possible and your fish in our temporary storage tanks for the duration of the project.
- Relining – whether it is a single sheet, multiple-sheet joined on-site (liner welding) or a box-welded liner for your koi or bespoke feature pond.
- Repair or installation of equipment such as filters, pumps and hoses which are correctly specified for your pond.
- Design improvements to your water feature like fountains or illumination, remote control operation etc and improvements in numbers and species of aquatic plants to serve your pond.
- Life support systems to protect your fish while the repairs are carried out – we can store up to 100,000 litres of your pond water in our portable tanks during our works – a must for the welfare of your fish, pond and eco system.

Pond equipment

We are very proud of our relationship with Hozelock. Adopting the brand when we commenced business nearly 25 years ago, we have grown to become a Centre of Excellence of the Hozelock brand. We carry a copious quantity of all their stock relating to pond equipment and honour (and are trusted) with their warranty and guarantee.
Hozelock launched the pressurised filter, the 5-year warranty and we service their equipment in your pond annually, if it’s installed and you want us.
We’ll match the right, low energy-consumption equipment to your pond and we expect it to give you many, many years of service.
Completion with plants and fountains

We are very pleased to be able to work with Anglo Plants and offer their comprehensive range of the highest quality bog, marginal and deep water aquatic plants for your water feature at various sizes and price points.
Working with their seasonal list of available plants, selected either for their best quality, ‘in-flower’ or landscape planting status, we can then recommend suggested planting species, quantities and planting zones, working with you to encompass your desires and colour pallets.
As your pond fills, we will supply and plant, to complete your project.
Safapond: Your pond, made safe!

Ponds are dangerous places, right? Well, careful design and education can mitigate, but where caution cannot be entertained, then we can fit this safety system. If you desire your pond being ‘made safe’, then we, as trained installers, can fit a Safapond system that will minimise risk to your loved ones – without affecting the look of your beautiful pond.
Launched in 2001, the Safapond grid system has been used extensively throughout the UK to protect children from accidents around the garden pond ,enabling the retention and continued enjoyment of pond keeping – perhaps now, for a new generation.
The grid fits just below the waterline to protect against accidents and has the added benefit of keeping your fish safe from predators, such as heron. Why not visit our gallery of people ‘walking on water‘?
The fitting of Safapond is normally best undertaken when a pond is empty. To find out more about the potential restoration and making safe of your pond, please visit our Child Safety page.
Pond Restoration – FAQs
Our pond restoration service covers full cleaning, desilting, replanting, liner repairs or replacement, edge restoration, and pump/filter checks. Whether it’s a wildlife pond or ornamental feature, we restore it to full health and usability.
Yes – we specialise in restoring neglected, overgrown, or leaking ponds. This often involves removing invasive plants and debris, reshaping the pond profile, installing a new liner, and reintroducing aquatic planting for long-term balance.
Absolutely. If your existing liner is leaking, damaged, or outdated, we can install a durable EPDM rubber liner. It’s flexible, long-lasting, and ideal for custom-shaped garden ponds or wildlife ponds.
The time required depends on pond size and complexity. Small to medium garden pond restorations are usually completed in 2–5 days, while larger or more complex jobs may take longer. We provide a clear timescale during our site visit.
We restore ponds across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, and offer pond renovation services throughout England and Wales. Whether your pond is in a private garden, estate, school, or commercial setting, we’re ready to help.
