Lasting up to 60 years, EPDM membranes don’t break, nor do they degrade in the sun. EPDM is designed to sit dry (or wet) in the background for that event for which we all hope will never happen.
Should your liner become damaged – either through accidental or wildlife strike/damage, EPDM can be fully repaired. Whether it’s a puncture or tear, the repair can be warranted too, if undertaken by a qualified engineer.
Using EPDM repair processes and products, we can quickly restore the liner to a fully sealed system to maintain your water storage integrity.

EPDM membranes have an anticipated life of almost 60 years, with the first Firestone lagoon installed in 1973. HDPE has an anticipated life of 28 years.
Choosing our repairable EPDM membrane becomes a full-life cheaper, one-off installation, eliminating farm down time & better for the planets’ resources.

A £50,000 HDPE ‘cheaper’ liner investment in 1996 would cost, with inflation, £98,450 to replace in 2024 after its anticipated 28 year life. 2x cheaper membranes to reach an EPDM lifespan thus costs £148,450 plus all your groundworks and farm down-time during the relining works.
