Liner Services: Water Storage Lagoons
Fire & EWS Lagoons
EWS (Emergency Water Storage) lagoons are vital to their location. They need to be on standby, 24/7/365 to be called into action to capture and store water run-off from an industrial site in the event of a fire. Fire lagoons, too, need to be 110% reliable, carefully storing the water required in an emergency. As such, the liner must be robust, 110% weather (UV) stable, be regularly inspected and repairable.
110% reliable & repairable
Our membranes are exactly that. Ultra reliable and virtually bullet-proof.
Lasting up to 60 years, EPDM membranes don’t break, nor do they degrade in the sun. EPDM is designed to sit dry (or wet) in the background for that event for which we all hope will never happen.
Should your liner become damaged – either through accidental or wildlife strike/damage, EPDM can be fully repaired. Whether it’s a puncture or tear, the repair can be warranted too, if undertaken by a qualified engineer.
Using EPDM repair processes and products, we can quickly restore the liner to a fully sealed system to maintain your water storage integrity.

Zero waste efficiency
Cost efficiency is not only key, but critical too in these modern times of price rises and emphasis on planetary resources. EPDM membranes are the most expensive on the market now, so waste is simply not an option. Therefore every quote, every site visit, every installation is meticulously worked out at the design stage to use the absolute minimum quantity of membrane in a variety of stock widths to ensure there is as little, to no waste as possible.
We pride ourselves that in 14 years joining liner on site, we’ve never ordered a skip!
Inspection & maintenance
Turtle Productions offer an Inspection and Repair Service, in a variety of ways:
- We can Inspect your membrane installation, produce a report on its condition and identify, with costs, any repairs that might be necessary, or
- Inspect and immediately repair your EPDM membrane installation, reporting on our activities and invoice post visit.
- Our visits can be on demand or scheduled, repeat visits subject to the needs of your project.
By maintaining your project, we extend its life, saving the inordinate cost of replacement. Why not get in touch?
