Monday morning and we get an urgent call from Jaysam Contractors. They had been let down by a pond contractor, they had a deadline of the weekend before contractual penalties were applied and could we help with the urgent lining of an attenuation lagoon in Enfield, Middlesex before they suffered over-run penalties at the weekend?
We split our workforce in half to our current client’s agreement and sent half the team to Middlesex to help them. We coordinated their labourers to assist with the grunt work, so we could get the job done. All achieved within their really tight deadline – we are proud to have gotten a great review from their M.D. once the job was completed.
We had the chance to revisit this attenuation lagoon in 2017, which has now become a nature reserve. It looks un-recognisable now and totally beautiful.
