This mature, 22’ x 15’ pond needed a full restoration and reline. Located near Dymock in Gloucestershire, we drained many years of waste from the pond before relining it using our Firestone EPDM PondGard 1.02mm rubber liner – which has a lifetime guarantee as standard. Laid over the existing liner and with our puncture-proof geotextile membrane to protect the new liner, it should see 50-60 years’ service comfortably!
With the pond relined, it was time to dress the set and due to the elevation changes, we opted for both rockery stone to the bank, but also a mixed pebble/cobble combo on one side of the pond. Turf re-edges where required and we completed this all within one week.
We look forward to returning to the pond in Spring to aquatically plant it and we will be inviting this client to join our Annual Pond Service programme.
