We were asked by this client whether we could create a new wildlife pond for him. He’d dug the hole and had ample rock available in an on-site abandoned quarry at his property in the Malvern Hills, Gloucestershire.
We spent a week, sometimes in awful weather, gradually creating this new pond. Many trips down to his quarry were required to hand select the right stone, bringing it back and installing it. Two Hozelock Revolution filter systems power the waterfall and recirculation systems whilst the loose-lay rock will provide many habitats for local wildlife.
The pond awaits planting in the Spring.
