Turtle Productions were contacted wondering if we could help restore this client’s overgrown and no-longer loved large garden pond. Outside our domestic trading area, the size and scope of the project allowed us to provide our nationwide relining services, so we were as delighted as the customer when we accepted her challenge.
Years of neglect and plant growth meant there was only one solution – get the toys out and excavate the project. The spoil extracted was removed to another part of the clients property where it could be allowed to rot and decompose over time. The pond liner was removed and the site prepared for our EPDM PondGard rubber membrane laid over our standard, puncture-proof geotextile skin, all supplied by our friends from Gordon Low Products.
Once the pond was relined, we recycled the clients edging stone and bought in some new stone to dress the pond, holding back the liner into the banks whilst the reserved water was returned to the pond.
