We were contracted to restore this beautiful koi pond in the botanical gardens of Leicester University.
An old, failed HDPE liner needed replacing as did the defunct equipment. With the site heras fenced off, we drained the koi pond, saving the koi in our large steel-framed swimming pools. We then lined it using our Firestone EPDM PondGard rubber lifetime liner, bespoke crafting it on-site into a box-welded liner. Final works were to install new OASIS filtration with the grounds maintenance team returning the aquatic plants.
Many visitors engaged through the fencing with us during the week, demonstrating the need for this restoration which took us a week to complete.
