The client had a large EWS Emergency Water Storage attenuation lagoon which became silted up. Once key feature was the need to contain fire run-off water in the event of a site fire. They therefore needed to drain, dredge and then re-craft the banks to accept our liner before we could line with Firestone EPDM GeoGard.
Some 150m long with on-the-limit steepness of banks to work within, this was a taxing and tiring project, however working with our clients’ labour, they soon helped us make light work of it. A subsequent treatment plant should help maintain the usability of this lagoon into the future.
