Curved decking: It’s 2004 and we’ve built a few decks now, so we’re getting a little – confident? We’re asked to visit this property and update it with a new outdoor living space to span the rear. Unfortunately, the pond has to go. So, we say, “why not a curved deck” and the client … agrees!
Our first job is to remove the old so we can build the new. Thankfully the journey to work is under 5 minutes so we’ve plenty of time on the job! Then comes the triple-level carcass to support the deck – built in such a way that it’s sustaining. Carcass in, pegged to the ground, beefed up and now the boards are put down to clad it. Finally, the upper handrail system is in and wow, doesn’t it look amazing?
Who said decks had to be straight?
