Dug by our friends AMS, we were asked to line this 115 x 70 x 4m 32000m3 irrigation lagoon in Herefordshire.
We suffer a few false starts to line it thanks to the Great British weather, however the sun arrives to dry things out, allowing us to work quickly, with AMS on hand with machines to move the 660kg liners around site for us.
Our liner is supplied, as ever, by Gordon Low Products, sending us 21 rolls of GeoGard membrane and geotextile via articulated lorry delivery for easy forks-offload.
As we install the sheets, AMS back-fill the trenches tying the liner into place. EPDM is 100% UV stable, so it can be exposed to the weather for decades without suffering the degradation issues of plastic lagoons. We use the proper material for a once, lifetime installation.
