We were asked to recover this poor pond and waterfall in Gloucester. It hadn’t run in years and vegetation had all but reclaimed the area.
We cut out and salvaged aquatic plants and excavated the pond back to its original skin. Edging stones were removed and cleaned ready for relining.
The pond footprint was protected with a geotextile membrane, and then our new Elevate (Firestone) 1mm Pondgard EPDM rubber life-time-warranty liner was installed.
The pond was part-filled (to settle the liner) before the edging was re-cemented into place. The saved mature water, wildlife and aquatic plants were then returned.
