We were invited over to Llantarnum, near Newport in 2007 to bring about a change in lifestyle for this lovely family. The upper garden space was reasonably unusable, so we set about combining two fantasies in one – a large outdoor living deck and an integrated koi pond!
The family was working during the weeks so we were entrusted with their house whilst we firstly built a new figure-of-eight koi pond and then clad everything in a new elevated softwood deck. When the weather didn’t play ball, we sat inside whilst when the weather behaved, we worked on to keep on track. With a newly filled pond, our staff kept up tradition to christen it and the final reveal just two weeks later was magical.
