This is a fire pit lagoon repair for an existing EFW Energy From Waste plant in Widnes. Whilst the pit will double for attenuation, it needs to remain dry just in-case there’s a fire, so they can test the resultant water collection and appropriately process before releasing it. Consequently, we leave excess liner in the lagoon for it to shrink a little, and the floor is weighted down with concrete paving slabs to ‘ballast’ the liner.
