We were asked to provide our Consultancy Services to support Elliots Construction Ltd who were installing two large ponds for Solway Holiday Park’s multi-million site extension on the North Cumbrian coastline.
Working to a deadline and at short-notice, Turtle didn’t have our normal team of trained liner installers available, however the client had spare labour on site, so Turtle sent their M.D. to co-ordinate this project.
Lined over three days, Mark worked with Elliot’s labour, guiding them on the pulling out of the geotextile membrane and our Firestone EPDM liner. We then completed the technical welding work with pipe connections and guidance for the forthcoming aquatic planting by the on-site landscaping team.
Mark returned with his family for a night in 2025 to see how these two ponds had matured.
