EPDM membrane is fully UV stable, so it can be exposed to the elements and the membrane will not suffer in its own right by being exposed – this is guaranteed.
This, however, does not exclude penetrations from human, wildlife or foreign objects. Just like a bicycle inner tube, it can get punctured and, like a bike inner tube, it can be repaired.
